RXHK has developed robust quality and HSE standards and procedures to meet or exceed industry requirements.
We are a quality-driven organisation with ISO 9001:2015 certification.
Adherence to this quality management system governs every process undertaken. It is integrated with all aspects of the business and we’ve used it as a platform to set new best practice procedures in the field of high voltage construction.
Our Quality Manager leads an audit schedule to maintain compliance with ISO 9001: 2015. Quality procedures follow a process-led approach and risk-based thinking to ensure consistency and continual improvement.
Senior managers and employees collaborate to ensure the highest levels of quality are achieved at all times. Every component used in our solutions is guaranteed and we routinely conduct factory quality checks as part of our procurement process. We regularly review all systems and invest in our highly developed training resources.
Every project we handle benefits from bespoke quality systems. Preparing and implementing these involves onsite activity with project-specific plans to ensure processes are optimised.
Our aim is to always conduct business in a manner that protects the natural environment and serves the community. At a project’s outset we identify environmental priorities, objectives and targets. As the project progresses, we track how well these issues are being managed. In particular, we prevent pollution at source by reducing waste, recycling and carefully disposing of waste.
In strict accordance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and prevailing construction regulations, we maintain project-specific safety documentation of the highest quality. Clients’ own health and safety requirements and procedures are also observed.
Our Safety Manager and Safety Officers conduct regular internal audits for occupational health and safety, ensuring individual and collective wellbeing.
We have developed a formal occupational health and safety management system. This includes providing all necessary training for our employees to ensure they understand risks and work in a safe manner at all times. The system is periodically reviewed to ensure it remains relevant and appropriate.
Our safe work practices are designed to prevent injury and ill health, and we continually improve the effectiveness of our system. We also network with other leading companies with active health and safety programs to share best practice information, and we work to raise awareness of ongoing hazards and issues the construction industry faces.
We are firmly committed to operating facilities and projects in a safe, efficient manner in compliance with all applicable health, safety and environmental regulations. Our goal is to provide an injury-free work environment where facilities and projects are free of foreseen hazards and where people, equipment and the environment are not exposed to unreasonable risk of injury or damage.
Our philosophy is that safety must be planned into all activities. Quality and productivity are critical to our operations but they will never take precedence over safety.
RXHK's safety program is focused on achieving zero health, safety and environmental incidents. It promotes performance that minimises health and safety risks to our clients, employees, the public and the environment. Employees can stop any work activity that presents a danger to himself, other employees or the public.
We have established an environmental health & safety management system to reduce the liability and risk of environmental incidents, occupational injuries, illnesses and fatalities at project sites and facilities. The program incorporates:
