RXPE’s high power medium voltage variable frequency drives (Super HVCs) deliver significant energy saving benefits for industrial applications involving large electric motors.
Our advanced Super HVC technology is both compact and cost-effective. This minimises the footprint of the drives and reduces upfront investment, making them an attractive and credible alternative to fixed speed models.
In addition to the cost and energy saving advantages, our Super HVCs have a high power factor and superior reliability. Optimised motor control also reduces stress placed on the mechanical components of machines, enhancing their life expectancy.
Our Super HVCs benefit from H-bridge topology, advanced press pack IGBT power module series multilevel technology, digital control and synchronised pulse width modulation (SPWM). They are modular in design using a 4500V PP IGBT as the power device providing uniform structure and performance. The Super HVC incorporates RXPE’s patented water self-sealing plugs and plug pull electric connection.
The voltage source frequency conversion technology of our Super HVCs provides a high quality uniform output waveform and does not require power factor compensation or filter equipment. Features include an IP54 power unit, transient power fault tracking and restarting. The solution also benefits from RXPE’s all digital control system, plug-pull electric connection technology and water self-sealing quick connection for simplified maintenance.
